Late Bonam Venkata Chalamayya hails from agriculturally fertile peasantry of Konaseema. His quench for technology was set off with opening of an automobile garage, his investigation and exploration and later his feel of sheer need of upgrading the rural peasantry and in order to render the technological updates ensued in the formation of the BVC Educational Society which was registered on July 08, 1992 with registration number: 533 under the district registrar, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. In the year 1997 he established BVC Engineering College (www.bvcec.org) in a far and cornered peasantry of East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh at a place known as Odalarevu, creating a new era by establishing the very First Private Institution among the entire Coastal Districts of Andhra Pradesh under the aegis of Jawahar Lal Nehru Technological University.

Community response was overwhelming equally befitting was the imparting methodologies resulting in alumni bagging several best jobs in the industry.Relentless progress, encouragement and the urge to eradicate the rural poverty by catering to the requirement of global placements, the BVC Institute of Technology & Science was started nearer to the township of Amalapuram in the year 2002 with a vision of bringing a more viable integrated campus of professional studies. The ignition to excel has made BVCITS to compete with its own self inching newer standard. Down the lane today we have expanded the Integrated Campus to impart various courses such as Bachelor of Technology in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Masters in Computer Applications, Masters in Business Administration added to this Diploma Courses in CSE, ECE and EEE through 2nd Shift Polytechnic. Success begets success, aptly said, the BVC Group has extended its facilities starting in the year 2009 BVC College of Engineering (bvcce.edu.in) located at Divancheruvu within the city limits of Rajahmundry. Establishing these institutions has not only given impetus to the education but also generated employment to several rural folk around these townships.
